Nearly six-years as Teton County Commissioner and serving on Wyoming County Commissioner's Association's Transportation Committee and liaison with WYDOT for four years.

Board member of Community Foundation of Jackson Hole and Jackson Hole Airservice Improvement Resources, Inc.

2001 Founder and Board Member of the Jackson Cupboard (food bank).

Over fifteen years of Boy Scouts leadership, including six years as Chairman for of Jackson District Boy Scouts of America. 2008 recipient of Scouting's Silver Beaver Award (Scouting's highest award for adult service).

Active member of Rotary Club of Jackson Hole and Rotarian of the Month in January 2008. Lead advocate for Rotary's project in Rwanda-The Center for the Secret of Peace.

Past board member for Teton Youth and Family Services, Moseley Fund, Rotary Jackson Lunch Club and Teton County Republican Party Executive Committee.

Past President of Ring Lake Ranch (retreat center) in Dubios and helped facilitated a conservation easement of 400 acres.
